Thats I am saying Regional HD channels shouldn't be so costly if DTH companies are giving South SD packs so cheaply then how they're giving South HD channels so costly.

Sun group is very rigid for dealing channel deals. And specially for these Sun HD channels, they aren't negating with anyone and have fixed the prices. That's the reason praises are high or you can say its monopoly of Sun to have exclusive content in HD and in the absence of any other group HD channel , we have to accept this pricing.

sun HDS were USP of sun direct hence it wasnt ready to distribute on other platforms and these high prices might refrain dths from adding them.

sun direct has less space in insat hence it is choosy on adding HD channels. the eng and sports HD channels are enough for south customers.
