Yeah. That's a genuine reason to move on. But in case of DVR it doesn't happen and i am sure in Tata Sky charges are rare for next 2 years atleast.

Right now I have 3 other option other then dishtv and that is TATA(SKY, d2h and airtel but problem is with cost and and missing exclusive channels in the case of TATA(SKY I don't like HD Access Fee so I needs to go with Mega HD pack again for DVR I have too spent separately and with d2h I like Gold HD pack but they don't have SD News channels, SD Sports channels and SD Movies channels in this pack so I have to go with Platinum HD again to shell Rs. 520 PM and last not the least airtel don't know enough about the package but top up system make the pack costly any way now dishtv recent fight with Broadcasters and not having DVR is missing channels wise I just missing STAR SPORTS HD channels again not single DTH is ful filing my demand

With TATA(SKY no chance because of HD Access Fee, with Videocon Diamond Pack Rs. 355 + HD Globe Rs. 169 = Rs. 524, better choice Platinum HD Rs. 520 PM, airtel don't know much about it in dishtv everything is fix and that too looks awkward without Indiacast HD channels

Ok Guys I have come up with you solutions for my problems based on my channel needs and my subscription based on Mega South HD Pack with TS:

I do have 2 TS STBS (1 - TS HD+ & 2nd TS+) and I am subscribing to South MEga HD pack which cost me Rs 7,500 at current scenario which means per month i need spend Rs. 625 & secondary connection @ Rs. 200 PM.

At this point of time if I opt for Airtel HD Recroder:

Cost of HD Recorder: Rs 4990
Less: 2 months free subscription of south mega pack which exceeds my channel needs: Rs. 1250 (2 months of South Mega HD pack Sub of TS)
Now i have bring down the cost of the STB to the 3rd month to Rs 3,740 (4990 - 1250)

I would subscribe the following with Airtel to fulfill my needs:
I prefer to go with South Max - Rs. 150 PM
HD PAck - Rs 175 PM
Sports Pack - Rs 125 PM
English News PAck - Rs 30 PM
Total Monthly Airtel Subscription - Rs. 480
Total Savings per month - Rs 625 - 480 = 145
Total Savings in 26 months = 145 x 12 = 3770
Virtually the STB cost can be nullified by the 28th month if i go with Airtel...This savings i had shown to you by not subscribing to Annual pack of Airtel offerings if opt for that i belive with in 2 yrs from the use i can nullify the cost of Airtel HD Recorder STB....

Time is not permitting me to show the calculation savings if i go for D2H....
