Guys, the channels which are to the access of capacity of Horizontal TPs of Insat 4A are being shifted only to the Vertical TPs of Gsat 10 and not to the Horizontal TPs, They will keep on adding HD and SD channels on Insat 4A by this way till the Vertical TPs of Gsat 10 have space After that when need arise and they will have to leave Insat 4A, they will shift all the channels to the Horizontal TPs of Gsat 10, On Gsat 10 they are having just the double space, So right now Tatasky hasn't any problem of space, In fact now it has more than sufficient space !!:):):)

There are only V TPS on gsat 10 so dont be so happy for that once Insat 4a retire ISRO will give replacement of that to tata sky

GSAT- 10 is the replacement of INSAT 4A. ISRO hasn't given any extra space to Tata Sky yet. I read in an article that Tata Sky doesn't want to stay on ISRO satellites as they keep ignoring their needs. The CEO of Tata Sky said if ISRO can't fulfill their requirements, they should give them a go to use any foreign satellite.

If you guys check the news articles related to the press releases of Tatasky a year back, you will find that they were testing new technology to increase the capacity of TPs, later they revailed that they are going to use Gsat 10, later it also came in media that 'Currently we are testing only vertical TPs of Gsat 10' (it means they will use its Horizontal TPs also in future), and later in a interview Mr. Nagpal said, 'that currently we will use the explored space for channel addition and the remaining space will be used as per our need for our future service launchs. these all tells that it has both Horizontal and Vertical TPs !!

Vadirocks pls keep ur Speculations Aside. We all know ur so called news regarding addition of channels on various Dth have came False. U dont know anything abt satellite world.
