Intention is quite clear that TS not wants to pay anything & thinks that having Zee channels in the their platform is a kind of favor they're making off. TS basically getting jealousy with popularity of Zee for obvious reasons. They should atleast provide Zee News which is FTA channel.

This is not happening for the first time. I don't think so this decision has anything to do with viewership/popularity of channel.
This concept was first introduced and implemented by Dish TV when they had not reached an agreement with Sony MSM for renewing the contract. Do you think Dish TV was jealous of popularity of Sony channels when they had implemented such concept?
I am not a big fan of neither Star nor Tata Sky, but whatever is being done here is to safeguard their business interests be it Tata Sky, Star or Zee. All are equally responsible for this as they are least bothered about the incovenience caused to their subscribers.
Bottom Line : Money is what matters to both DTH operators and Broadcasters, None care for their subscribers
