what's Access fee i spoke with D2h they said i can take gold maxi pack with 260 + i can choose HD top up plan 1st one is 125 for 16 HD channels including

Life Ok HD

Star Gold HD
Star Sports HD1
Star Sports HD2
Ten HD
Six HD
M Tunes HD
Discovery HD
History HD
NGC HD
3D Active
CNBC TV18 Prime HD

Second one is Rs. 169
on which i will get additional following channel
Star Movies HD
Zee Studio HD
Movies Now HD
CNBC TV18 Prime HD
Travel XP HD
Star World HD

Thus i plan to downgrade ....

yes after screwing up my sunday speaking with D2H customer service team and running through various website and forum i realized that YES D2H is no more a cheap operator and now their packages are no more consumer friendly as it used to be earlier.... and going by this speed they would soon breach Rs. 600/- subscription... Totally disappointed ... and what a shame that a city like Gurgaon does not have a Digital Cable alternative available.....

It got implemented almost a month back.

Yes i knew know about HD access fee but never bothered to find details of it as it was not important for me at that point of time .... now i know what a one way contract these DTH operator are making for their own benefit .... forget consumers

I don't blame DTH policies even I don't hate HD Access Fee but problem with TATA(SKY is for their cheapo business they don't acquiring space not creating space and just crying for space

If they add bunch of HD and SD channels that HD Access Fee will finishes to the positive side for subscribers but T(S son of STAR only here for money.

Infact i think d2h had well crafted the HD Access Fee. Unlike Tata Sky they are not charging HD access fee for a la carte HD channels.
