At least 37 Indian fishermen were arrested on Friday by the Sri Lankan navyfor allegedly poaching in the country's waters, a day after President Maithripala Sirisena said he had issued instructions to seize boats that violate the country's territorial waters.

Sri Lankan Naval spokesman Commander Indika Silva said 37 Indian fishermen were arrested and five boats were seized off the island's northern coast in Point Pedro this evening. The fishermen have been taken to Kankesanturai port for further action, Silva said.

Why these fishermen go out in other territory to get arrested. Even after so many incidents, they never learn the lesson.

Looks like they enjoy prisoners life more than a fisherman life.

Its better to train & make aware fishermen about the geographical reality. Otherwise this will continue in future also.
Other govts are not going to listen to foreign minister Swaraj call for humanitarian approach.
Also govt can mark sea line boundary by some means like buoy
