4k in airtel dth and smart card

Hi all,

I'm using airtel dth with samsung direct smart tv for a year with hd subscription . Is there a sperate 4k enabled smart card for Samsung direct tv?

Moreover any plans for airtel to start 4k feeds?

It's not about the card Bro. It's about the TV.

If ur Samsung Smart Direct Tv is FullHD; Then You will get all the privilege , which you are ought to from an Airtel HD Subscription.

If Ur Samsung Smart Direct Tv is 4K or UHD. You will get all the 4K Privilege. You are set to receive all 4k Channels or Service from Airtel.

But Airtel is yet to launch a 4k STB or 4k Service. May be in the near Future. I don't know the exact date.

As far as I remember Airtel and Samsung has launched a 4K TV with in build ADTV set top box.

Yes and they even showed Bajrangi Baijaan in 4K exclusively for those Samsung TV subscribers

Guys... The Tv you are Talking about is called Samsung Smart Direct TV (STB integrated TV). He is talking about that only, but He didn't specify his Tv resolution.

That Tv is available in Full Hd and 4k.

But His question is .. Is there any smart card available in 4k..? So that he can upgrade or may be he can buy.

And I guess the answer is No.

Also Bhajrangi Bhaijan was shown in 4k, for those customers, who bought a 4k Samsung Smart Direct Tv. And The Channel No. was 400. That's Correct.

as of now there is no separate 4K stb available in the market and so forget about smart card. Maybe a chat with ADTV customer would give an insight of this

My model no is 6670, 4k supported model. Even had a call with cc, they are not even aware of term 4k yet which is sad.
