After purchasing 4k tv i continued using my airtel hd box for about 2 months.(This airtel connection i am holding for the past 4 years) After going through this forum, i came to know about videocon 4k box and that tempted me to visit videocon website. Then i booked 4k set top box and on fourth day it was installed on 11th Feb..As a new customer to videocon i really enjoyed the picture quality of all HD channels . Of course the tv itself has upscaling feature and with the help of 4k set top box picture quality is excellent and very sharp.
But i find dolby digital audio quality of most of HD channels are not good . I had connected optical cable from set top box to my home theater. With similar set up i had great 5.1 sound in all HD channels of airtel HD box.
I like to know from the members about the quality of 5.1 audio in their videocon HDbox as well as 4k set top box
Further, i was given remote without recording ,rewind etc buttons and with this remote i can't record the program.
What kind of remote was given to other 4k customers? Is this like HD box remote or entirely new one?
