I am very much satisfied with DD audio on Star World Premier HD. Tata Sky needs someone from Dolby Lab, they will fix every audio issue they are having.

Dolby can't do any thing on this.Every channel have different sound quality.Its DTH has to maintain DRC accordingly.If ADTV is doing it correctly then why not Tata sky??you can see extremely low sound in all Sony HD channels. and surround sound also not that much good.If you hear ADTV sound then you may know it.
Let's write about it to TataSky then. The biggest mistake they must be doing is re-encoding DD audio into DD+, specially into 7.1.
What basically is the difference in AQ? The audio level or overall surround sound. You won't get much surround sound in low volume, I guess. Rear speakers have low frequency, you can try to increase those individually.

there is no difference in DD and DD+(I did not added 7.1) in therms of volume or clarity.both are same.surround sound not even good in any channel comparing to ADTV.even bass and Tarbel also not good.totally failure in all in audio department.
I am sorry. I haven't seen an ADTV HD STB, so I can't compare. You might know better.
I am OK with Tata Sky right now. I have a basic DVD HT and it does the work. I am getting surround.
Maybe I need higher end audio equipment to feel the difference.
