news x has no relation with 9x or 9xm. 9x media runs 9x0,9x jalwa, 9xm,9xjhakaas,9x tashan while news x is owned by a congress man's son and 9x is owned by zee

Indirectly both are interrelated.
9X Media was founded by Indrani Mukerjea in 2007 through two companies, INX Media Pvt Ltd and INX News Pvt Ltd.
INX Media was later renamed as 9X Media and all Music channels are coming under this group whereas INX News Pvt Ltd ran an English news channel, NewsX, It was sold to in Indi Media in January 2009.
In March 2010, Zee Entertainment Enterprises made a bid of Rs 65 crore for 9X still 9X retained its brand, despite being bought out by ZEE Network.
