Grand Theft Auto V is packed full of mysteries, surprises, and cheat codes, and there are still new things to discover even years after its initial release.
The latest cheat code discovery is something of a mystery. It results in an explosion in the distance, and your phone’s theme will be black the next time you pull it up.
To do this, pull up your phone in story mode, go to the dialer, and enter 1-999-367-3767 (that spells out 1-999-EMP-DROP). Once you hit send, you’ll spot the explosion.
The contact name shows up as “Black Cellphones”, and it doesn’t seem to count as a cheat. It doesn’t work if you try to enter the code a second time. Perhaps this is just a way to change your smartphone’s theme, or maybe there’s more to it than it seems.
