The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government on Thursday apologised for a goof up in a newspaper advertisement given on the occasion of the first Constitution Day. The advertisements carried the preamble of the Constitution, but omitted 'secular' and 'socialist' words from the same.
The Delhi government has also ordered an inquiry into it to find out if the omission of words was a deliberate mischief.
In the advertisement, the government gave out the schedule of an event for the celebration of Constitution Day at Mavlankar Hall at Constitution Club Complex in Rafi Marg of the national capital. While the chief guest for the event was Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the event was to be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
