Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker from Delhi Cantonment area Surinder Singh, arrested for allegedly assaulting a municipality worker, was today granted bail by a court here.
Metropolitan Magistrate Gomati Manocha also granted bail to the two other accused - Singh's driver Pankaj and assistant Praveen - on a personal bond of Rs. 30,000 each with one surety of the like amount.
The court had reserved its order earlier in the day after the lawmaker questioned its jurisdiction to deal with the case lodged under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Act and sought bail.
