Review Activated Dish tru HD +.. My personal Review (ALL 27 HD channel Pics Added)

Today I have joined dish family ditching tata sky. So my review will briefly comparision between the two.

Hardware -

Very small set to box size . Was shocked to see that. Remote though is longer than Tata but still manageable. Recording is major thing and an upside.

Verdict - GOOD

Software -

Software is the major downside in Dish tv . Very poor interface . Channel switching is fast similar to tata.

Verdict - Average

SD channels -

VIDEO -

SD channels have mixed quality some channels seems good but some channels are bad. Tata sky improved over the year so they have better SD channel quality than Dish . Channels like sony mix and vh1 are better in dish.

AUDIO -

SD channel audio is similar to Tata and is superior.

Verdict- Good

HD Channels-

This is the reason i bought Dish and im gonna review this seriously.

VIDEO and AUDIO - SURPRISED. By 5.1 sound in some channel

1. ZEE TV - Awesome same as Tata

2. SONY TV - Average in comparison with Tata (Not Sharp)

3. STAR Plus - Same average no sharpness

4. Life OK HD - Awesome same as Tata

5. Zee Cinema HD - Awesome Better than Tata

6. &Pictures HD - Good

7. Star Gold HD - Bad quality not in comparison with Tata

8. Zee Studio HD - awesome same as Tata

9. Movies Now Hd - awesome same as tata

10. Star Movies Hd - Awesome same as Tata

11. Sony PIX HD. - Good

12. Star World HD - Average in comparison to tata

13. Travel XP. Hd - Good..

14. Fox Life HD - Awesome

15. TLC HD world - Good.

16. Discovery HD World - somewhat better than tata

17. Nat geo HD - Average in comparison to tata.

18. Animal Planet HD. - Good..

19. NGC wild HD. - Awesome..

20. NGC People HD. - Good..

21. Baby TV Hd - Good..

22. TEN HD - Awesome better that tata.

23. Sony six HD. - Awesome better than Tata..

24. Star Sports HD1 - Tata is somewhat better ..

25. star sports hd 2 - Tata is somewhat better..

26. NGC Music HD - awesome

27. MTUNES HD - Same as Tata..

VERDICT - If you want some quality channel tata edges ahead than dish and for quantity you can see for 200 pm i can a watch 27 true HD channel

Also DOLBY Audio was a surprise plus almost all channels have 5.1 Audio

If I am not wrong NGC Music HD channel doesn't provide Dolby sound Mr.A.N bro.Even Dish TV is do not thinking it is a HD channel.any ways Very good review with nice SS.

It is DOLBY for sure it is showing up and i can differentiate voice and music in my home theater

No Bro.Dish TV is providing Dolby sound for Star Plus HD,Gold HD,Movies HD,World HD,Movies Now HD and Romedy now plus HD.Any ways you can see "5.1" in EPG.

No Bro.Dish TV is providing Dolby sound for Star Plus HD,Gold HD,Movies HD,World HD,Movies Now HD and Romedy now plus HD.Any ways you can see "5.1" in EPG.

Im goin to update the thread with Audio review soon seems like I was looking at my Home Theater for Determining Dolby or PCM .. Ill research on it properly again.

Just check your Dish TV EPG. 5.1 logo will be there if Dish TV is providing Dolby sound.Check NGC Music HD channel EPG on Dish TV.

As per EPG 5.1 available for below channels.

1. Star Plus HD
2. Life OK HD
3. Star Gold HD
4. Movies Now HD
5. Star Movies HD
6. Romedy Now+
7. Star World HD
8. SWP HD

Earlier they enabled for Colors HD, but later removed it. I don't have home theatre so I can't confirm about the rest of the channels.
