Review Activated Recording in 2011 HD STB.

I have subscribed for Recording facility in my 2011STB HD. But till now I am unable to record anything. I have complaint to CC for the problem but those "Idiots" are not properly informed about the facility. One of them told me to press and hold the Red button of the Remote for 2 minutes and recording option will be appear on the TV Screen. But I have tried the process for 5minutes but nothing was appeared on my TV Screen only the STB light was blinking as I hold the remote. Lastly I complained through mail and waiting for their reply. Anybody have got the facility? can guide about it?

U have 2 change Remote settings
If ur Remote in normal mode
Do This Process
SET U:Insatallation:Box Settings:RCU TYPE:Change it to compact mode from normal
IT can resolve UR Problem

Thanks to every one now I am getting from today morning.
The CC told me yesterday that the Technician will charge Rs. 150/- for visit. But I protest as DTH is completely a rental service like Electricity or BSNL Landline Telephone. If your Electric Meter or your Telephone set creates problem then are you pay any charge to them for repair? But CC can't justify my point.

SET U:Insatallation:Box Settings:RCU TYPE:Change it to compact mode from normal
IT can resolve UR Problem

It's not needed. I have started recording with existing Remote settings(Normal). If I go for Compact then by pressing "OK" button of Channel Menu Programme getting paused.
