But I don't think GSAT-10 will be technically possible for ADTV after moving to SES

airtel expect some more space and demand them from last 6 month.but not from gsat ,they mainly demand it from ses.

This time i have to post many smilies as i am not in favour of many smilies in a post as same happen in Tatasky .Very bad news for users like me.
I dont want more channels as wants 2-3 channels. Adding 30-40 channels makes the price of packs heigher and me too has to pay for nothing ,
Any way let us go on topic,
This is going to happen 1 day as every DTH cant get sufficiant TPs atleast for 5 years. as all know there is a limitations on availability of Transponders in Stas.

Mr.Bhat, Dths are bound to satisfy all the customers so the addition cant be avoided. Perhaps they can modify the base packs according to the regions.

Thats the sad part as more additions r needed and DTH oops must consider of users friendly Packs to choose instead making them helpless by traping with conditions. else i have no issue on additions. few r only wants channel counts instead of their favourite channels additions. that makes bit bad on others.

I would earnestly Request ADTV to spare GSAT-10 as TS fans are desperate for channel addition. @bhatji once TS would add channels they would surely increase channels rates. Lets keep our fingers crossed till then

bprrkl bro, Tata Sky would be getting only 10 TPs out of 30. So, TS is no way going to be affected.

Rest 20 TPs can be acquired by Sun, RDTV but ADTV frequencies are not suitable for this satellite.

im bhai r u awake from sleep just now otr do u not know the facts. gsat 10 has 12 ku band tps, 12 c band tps and 6 extended c band tps. in india gove allows to use only ku band tps for dth and tata sky has booked all 12 ku band tps in 2007 itself. so none can use gsat10 for dth except tata sky

plz comment after knowing facts and u tell me that u r tech very well off

Im Bhai I think there are 12 Ku band TP's and rest 12 C band TP and 6 extended C band. I dont feel sun, RDTV would be using C band TP's they would require Ku band for DTH operations
