You need to find the right combination. For Hindi Movies HD channels, you don't need to subscribe to the entire pack - 2 channels on a-la-carte would suffice

South Sports Special Annual Pack
HD Access Fee Annual Pack provided price still remains @ 125Rs, else I am planning to opt out of HD Access Fee
Star Gold, Zee Cinema & MTunes - a-la-carte

I hardly watch SD channels, so no point in subscribing to entire pack when my interest is only HD channels. Subscribing to English Movies Pack make sense as it has more HD channels.

Even I am also thinking the same.I want English HD channels with DD sound,rest of the channels I can get in Hathway.
