HELP Airtel 4G

I am from Kolkata and Airtel has 4G service in Kolkata. But I need to know about the 4G service of Airtel. Does they provide good speed as promised? Also how is their after sales service?
Will it be good to shift form Reliance 3G to Airtel 4G? Tariff is similar for both.So service is what I am looking for.

I don't think here anyone would have experienced 4G services.

But if tariff is similar to 3G, I would suggest you to ho ahead. After sales service is not so terrific but if followed proper hierarchy, you will be able to extract proper service from them.

What I have learnt from various reviews is that it has download speed upto 800 Mbps.

one of my friend working in kolkata mentioned that device costs are on a higher side.even they didn't installed bts towers which results in poor indoor & outdoor coverage

Called them for a demo in my house on Saturday. Lets see what speed I get at my home. Based on that I will take the connection or reject..

Today they came for the Demo around 9:30 in the morning...
But speed???? Speedtest.net gave 2.2 Mbps where as my reliance 3G gives around 3 Mbps.
So dumped the idea of buying and send the sales guy home after demo. :mad:
