IndianMascot Bro. Before you face such jhanjhat they already lured you by milking some offer :p

I am not saying that airtel collects equipment immediately after you deactivate the connection but they give you the choice to activate your connection time after time after time. If you activate your connection then fine otherwise they will ask you to return equipments to them if still not return then they block your connection just like deactivate mobile numbers after then if you even wants to activate they won't activate it and forcefully you have to purchase the new connection :beat2:
Totally wrong.I can guarantee that they willn't block anything or takeaway anything without your permission.
Everydth gives offer for deactivated subscribers. They also give this but not any extra offer.

After reading all such posts related to ADTV I have concluded that only ADTV tries to threaten its inactive users to return STBs. But Rs 100 for STB is too less may be Rs 300 or 500 would be better. ;)

Do you believe that a private company threat its customers??If they do so,it will hurt their brand image and they will have to close their shops.

Aniruddha bro is right, i have myself experienced it from airtel digital tv. I didn't recharge my account so they used to continuosly call me with offers to recharge the account, also many IVR calls used to come. After 90 days they started threatening me that if u do not recharge then ur account will be permanently disconnected and after few days they straight forward said to me either recharge ur account or give us back ur stb, dish as its te company policy, they said u r not owner of anything and all things belong to airtel. They also said that if i do not return then they will file a legal case against me

yes it will hurt its reputation & brand image. But if we see a company's policies, promoter's background etc. then we can arrive at some conclusion. I think Airtel as a company has bad reputation at this. Atleast this is what the user's experience suggests. Infact it is literally labelled as Biggest Cheater Network in India taking into account users posts in different mobile/DTH/telecom forums.
This is sad situation. I thought that ADTV is following & competing TS & might provide tough competition but is still a laggard.
