Breaking News Airtel going to realign the channel numbers soon

Hi All,

After a long time, I am back with a small update. The realignment of channels are imminent as told by Mr. People. Thanks for this news. Also there are 2 more updates. There will be 3 SD channels removed from the catalog once their contract is over for 1 year. Further ADTV might be adding ESS & Star Cricket HD back since many customers want them back! But not sure when.

Please check with your sources whether these are espn,star sports,star cricket or not?

Guys, the reason why I have added "might be" in the post is that we are not sure whether they will add these channels 100%. But it seems that the marketing team has already given feedback to content team for the same since sales nos are slimming down. Cos HD subscribers mainly contribute to 62% from cities. In all the available HD channels there are no south indian HD channels. So many subscribers will prefer watching mainly sports in HD followed by infotainment & English movies. If sports is important, then ESS HD package tops the list.

Infact No DTH can become No.1 unless it have all Sports HD channel. There are rifts between ADTV and ESS team, but in business and politics, there is never a permanent rivalry

So, hope are still there for ESS HD channels

The malayalamchannels which are going to realign from 21st feb are as below :-

One step has already been taken by bringing CHANNEL V from LCN 381 to 116 now.

So they have moved to 116 from 381.
