HELP Airtel HD DVR vs TataSky+ HD

Just had a word with Airtel Customer Care Executive. The guy told me that I can opt for My Plan 99 and Add as many HD Channels I want. Any Airtel HD users tried to change to My Plan 99?

Let me try to explain. See I really have no issues with TataSky. The thing is that with Dhamaal Mix Pack (240) English Entertainment (60) English Movies (70) HD Access Fee (125) my monthly consumption will be Rs. 495/-

Now, in Airtel If I can really subscribe to My Plan 99 for HD DVR then even after adding 6 Packs namely Hindi Plus HD (95) English Plus HD (70) Hindi Entertainment (40) English Entertainment (60) Hindi Movies (40) English Movies (65) my monthly consumption gonna be Rs. 469/-

I don't want to spend more then 500 bucks a month nor do I want to miss the channels that I want. TataSky stands at 495 PM so if they every decide to increase the price of Packs/Channels its definitely gonna cross 500 mark. Also, Airtel HD DVR is 1k cheaper then TataSky so am just trying to save money without compromising much.

none have tried My plan 99 Drake and again just email to CC for proof because telephonice conversation wont be effective and backtrack anytime. So it is better to have a printed proof and mail them about enquiring your queries.

You might get cheap service from Airtel. One of our member lost Rs. 1,400 for nothing and he didn't got Rs. 750 back ever after making too many effort

Here TS giving refund to customers for interruption in a service and with t3chg33k case he gave a refund to ADTV because he's using sorry ADTV DTH.

I am not a fan of brand Tata Sky but agrees on a simple fact that no DTH can match Tata Sky's service. Before making such a huge decision please check this thread:

Since you ask our suggestion tats a reason I made a comment on it. Airtel looks very glittery and shiny from outside but no professionalism from inside. They even ask to return hardware once not recharge and blackmail customers.

So make a decision by tossing all the aspect of a coin, final decision would be yours :)

No doubt TS is a costly brand but they always live up on their words.

Guys, In "TataSky + Setting Menu" there are options like Add to start of Recording, Add to end of Recording in which we can select the time from 2 to 30 mins.

Is there any similar feature available within the recording settings of Airtel HD DVR?
