Good option for connectivity...
It seems Airtel DVR doesn't have ethernet port on-board so one has to buy this dongle for connectivity.

Rs 849 only but is it usable only for ADTV content. Not outside that?

the dvr does have an ethernet port but i think this dongle is for wifi conectivity

the same one as tata sky has the VoD wifi dongle but that costs rs 300/-

So much difference in TS & ADTV dongles.......Rs 300 & Rs 849....that too introductory offer....

If so then then it's very costly. I was expecting something like Chromecast but this turned out be nothing but a wifi making device.

Yes....I called airtel to inquire about the device but its nothing as hyped...its just a wifi dongle that will be used for VoD... and for Rs 849/- its just a flop device in my opinion...

Now im more interesed in buying a chromecast for 2900rs rather than airtel wifi for 849/-
