I think you will need an active DTH subscription to keep the box running. Because when you purchase the box 1month hd pack is free. So they might do what they did with android box earlier.

I have asked the same question and what reply I got was that an active subscription is required

So, to continue this we have to pay rs 1836+3999 initially and after one year, it will be Rs 2835 annually.

Also, if i am not wrong then we get only below 10 HD channels on XStream app.

So, in such case again for remaining HD channels, one need to switch to DTH subscription.
