I checked with AIRTEL customer care they told that nothing like that. Lets hope for the best.

I remember 2 months ago similar notice was issued by ESPN Star for terminating these 3 channels on RDTV but I think later issue was resolved..

Notice is to put pressure on DTH company to settle any outstanding payment.

I have seen 1st time Notice against Airtel.:(

These kinds of Notices are common for rdtv:D

Nothing great to worry. It's just a matter of money. Once cheque is received at ESPN end , this notice will become relevant.

So, not a big thing to worry about

i think its not because of money. In reliance case they had clearly stated reason for notice is because of non payment. But in this case the problem is non signing of new agreement with them. Some serious problems going between espn and airtel. This may be the after effects of removal of ESPN HD and star Cricket HD. ESPN might be very angry with airtel for removal of HD channel because it will affect in their revenue share. So some new conditions might be put by ESPN.

SD and HD business are entirely different. Both need to be acquired by separate deals. ESS HD wen't off air on ADTV only because of money and same will be the reason of removal of ESS SD channels.

It seems that ESS is showing enough greed and trying to take advantage of telecast rights which they own and won last year. They have become quite stronger by acquiring broadcast rights of both cricket and soccer matches.

So, rift between both of them will be a loss of both.

I guess, ADTV will not make such mistake to loose these important channels from it. It will make the best to save these channels from it's limits..
