Important Airtel, Vodafone, Idea hike 2G tariff by up to 100%

Yes my pack has also increased 1gb pack was for rs 154 but now it is 175 for 1 gb for 1 month

But airtel is giving me 1gb 3g data for 179rs

Currently too much load on site so now they reduce coverage area of tower , now you will get good signal only in radius of 2 km [once upon a time it was 10 km, thats why too much site is needed and we know they need to run these site on generator, this is one factor. Another is demand is high so price goes high is simple rule.

Many a times when these telcos feel that shares are going down, they announce such price hike which bumbs their stock rates.

After few months, they will silently decrease the price again.
