News All 45 coal miners trapped in ECL's Pandaveswar colliery in West Bengal rescued

All 45 workers of a colliery in Pandaveswar of Eastern Coalfield Limited who were stuck inside the coal mine for the last 12 hours have been successfully rescued.

"Rescue operations began a while back on the site and all the miners have be been brought out," said a senior mine official.

According to officials the trolley of the mine was not working because of a technical problem in the broiler which led to miners being trapped inside.
