All govt banks to remain closed on 2nd and 4th Saturdays : RBI

Even in my area Axis bank sometimes runs on sunday too...

Private banks accept cash the whole day from Monday to Friday. Eg CITI

Weekend (Saturday) half day. For the public sector banks they accept cash only for 3 hours in a day. How may holidays these guys need?

People asking for more holidays need to sent home and recruit youngsters who can work and serve general public.

They really need the off day. I have seen bank officiala staying at office till 7pm! That too in SBI.

Bro, i have stayed in office till wee hours and i dont get pension, but those guys do get loads of benefits like PF, Pension, reduced loan rates etc...

Bro, they do work like hell and have to check double the data each time, My frd who is working in bank told me that they get loads of documents, cashes and have to sit and go through all the details.

Technoglitch bro, that's the nature of job and that too service industry as well. How about mobile phone companies taking off on Saturday and Sunday and if we are stuck with issues and there is no one to assist? Remember those days if our LL is going dead during weekends, we need to wait for Monday to come just to raise complaint.

Post which another 15 days for the line man visit to rectify the same. So Service industry cannot work like this.
