what about content ?amazon giving good content now in India?

They have launched today itself in India with a drop of library as I said but Amazon has Indian based approach and not the American. They have subtitles in many Indian languages for English shows. And as far as content is concerned, Netflix doesn't offer a great deal of content in India either, but they still charge according to their price in the US. Amazon's Indian based approach will win them more subscribers over time. I don't know about Netflix library but the fact that I couldn't even sign up with my debit card on Netflix and now have Amazon Prime Video so easily tells you, if Netflix really wants to serve in India. Netflix is targeting only few enthusiast in country who have credit card.

For your info Netflix works on debit card also.

Yeah. I know . Only if you have international transaction enabled.

Nope.Normal Debit card is enough.
Have tried so many times with my SBI master card. Never happened. Never got the trial. Always asks to enter details of a different card.
