As known last 29 sep 2012 communication sat GSAT10 has launched. But as news perhaps it lost it own communication.
These day our space department and ISRO talk about mars and moon but it capability to provide a satellite to a company as complex puzzle. No one company of dth in india have full tp of requirement.about all these aquiring foreign satellite.
Tatasky only one company which stay on indian sat but isro can not fulfill their requirement.Also as break their contract timeline as again and again.
As must said that
WAAH RE ISRO TERA KYA KAHNA.........

Yea,Now Today 1 year Compleated,Till now We didn't got any testing,news about operational or anything.At the same time they r making fool us by telling "the tps r beging used" in rti reply.The Truth is : after launch of insat 4a in Dec 2005,They r not able launch a single successful satellite,Gsat series is Totally fail,They have no work rather than sleeping,looting our hardworking money in form.of taxes & breaking chairs in there isro & antrix offices. :mad::mad:

I don't think ISRO will ever fulfill the TP need of DTH companies.
In Future we will have to rely on 600 FTA channels from DD. :p

I think last tp's which ISRO gave was from Insat 4B/4CR, out of which half of the tps are not operational in 4B and 4CR is not being used by Airtel now.

Also, add GSAT-8 to the list....only God knows who is using this satellite
