Star bought Vijay TV from UTV groups in 2008 so star entirely owns Vijay TV.

I think star will not start any campaign againest dish tv as know that its from their side. Star hiked price rate [ recently trai gives permission to hike 14% price for broadcaster]. Infact star knows, dish tv will affect more that star group. So its harm for dish tv and star can strain without dish tv but can dish tv without star.... Hence need is for dish tv so dish tv will have to agree with star whatever they demand .

dishtv already doing like a handicap without STAR SPORTS HD channels the exclusive HD channels is also not works because in the cricket centric country its a sin not to carry Sports channels and that who have India's Cricket Rights, now STAR SPORTS is hiding and they have a problem to provide STAR SPORTS channels in dishtv, dishtv brings a simple method they removed all STAR channels from base pack before signing the contract as they clearly indicates that if you affect my business i will affects your.
