Australia's practice game in Fatullah called off
Australia's tour opener, a two-day practice match in Fatullah from August 22, has been cancelled after Cricket Australia (CA) delegation visited the ground on Monday morning (August 21). Fatullah receivedincessant rainfall a week before the game, which has made a telling impact on the ground conditions.
To make matters worse, the short recovery time and poor drainage facilities at the venue eventually led to the cancellation of the game. The teams are instead, expected to use the practice facilities in the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
