A "shattered" Michael Clarke, former Australian captain, has slammed his successor Steve Smith and the senior players involved in plotting to change the condition of the ball in the third Test against South Africa.
Young opener Cameron Bancroft has been charged by the ICC after confessing to using yellow tape to pick up rough granules from the pitch and rub them on the rough side of the ball in a bid to aid reverse swing. However, the spotlight is shining on Smith, who confirmed that he was part of the ploy but has refused to step down as captain.
