I think not,first they will shift all three pack channel in m4 that will give 2 Tps free in dvbs2 8psk. ts can add 70+ in 2 tps.

If 2 TP's becomes free, I feel TS will use 1 TP for adding SD channels and use another for adding HD channels

HD is their secondary priority.they are concentraring on SD now

I spoke to my source...he is telling me that they would first switch over the channels to MPEG 4...he also added that on or before 3oth September TS will add 5 Tamil Channels and they would add a bunch of 11 - 15 Malayalam channels at the same point of time...as TS already have entered into agreements for various channels..
