It’s not just retail customers that are moving most of their transactions to the mobile phones; even corporate customers and those who manage company funds are seeking phone-based cash management and transaction solutions.
To capture this, Axis Bank Ltd has launched mobile- and tablet-based banking apps for corporate customers that allows them to do most of their transactions such as payments, cash management and trade- and foreign exchange-linked dealings. The apps are all targeted at approvers of such transactions, such as treasury heads.
Pay Connect, which is the mobile app aimed at approving rupee transactions, also allows customers to make payments, view account summary, download statement of accounts, link group accounts, check balances in real time and download and email transaction reports. This application is aimed at the bank’s large corporate clients.
The tablet-based Internet banking solution allows the bank’s small and medium-sized corporate customers to perform transactions on the go using a tablet PC.
