Broadcast Audience Research Council has released data for 1 lac+ C&S markets. The sample comprises 10,760 households. A look at the highlights of Week 16 (April 18 to April 24, 2015).

Highlights - Week 16: April 18 to April 24

• Star Plus is the leading Hindi GEC channel of the country (HSM that is, Hindi speaking markets)
• Zee emerges strong among regional channels like Telugu and Marathi
• Aaj Tak is the leader in the Hindi news space (HSM)
• Times Now leads in the English news category (All India)
• IPL 8 put Sony Max in a strong position
• Sun TV is a dominant leader in the Tamil Nadu market
• ETV Kannada is the market leader in the Kannada market
• Nick is the market leader in the kids category (All India)
• Zee TV HD has the highest 'time spent' in the current week, followed by Sony Six HD and Colors HD, across HSM.
• Discovery is the leader in the infotainment category (All India)

So people watches ZEE TV HD more then SD :rolleyes:

Thanks to IPL, SONY MAX, SIX is on top. I think SONY MAX is also one of the reason why IPL become famous almost 98% reach in the base pack :cheers:

Ten Sports continues to be a 3rd most viewed channel Off Season because of WWE and now because it is LIVE ;)

People watching ZEE Cinema more surprise to see & Pictures absent from Top 3, its looks like people like to see South Dub movie more tats a reason viewers are less for original movie channels & Pictures. In that way UTV Movies and UTV Action must having more viewers compare to & Pictures :cool:

Disappointing figures of ZEE TV and ZEE Bangla :sour:

Feeling bad for Kids as they have nothing more to watch except Japanese Cartoons and stupid Motu Patlu and idiotic dubbed Oggy and The Cockroach :beat2:

I dont think it is original rating at least for Telugu ,Gemini is not in the list and ETV is in the list which is wrong.
