Retail was not performing well and occurring losses. So any such industry which is not performing well can have good results with FDI.

manufacturing is a word which compromises many sectors/ industris n companies.

Giving stake to outsider means that you are giving everything control into their hand. When you start walking with the help of stick then you will never feel confident to walk without it. This is FDI.

I am not against FDI but when its not required then we should avoid it.

How is China working. Do they too have so much FDI in their economy.

bhai both r different things. when BJP oppose then y not congress opposing it right now.
BJP opposed for the different things but this time they just increased the fdi limit
e.g. - 49 % to 74 % so any centr govt. can do it. even congress also did it.
but BJP opposed bcoz of the middle business man who ll b in loosing side had FDI was cleared in those sectors.
