What is special on format ? If they put some locals on the show then is you gonna watch them ? I remember Bigg Boss bought some locals as contestants but they removed them immediately.

Its nice to see very small time celebrities having fights cooking cleaning etc more importantly its better than watching a serial.....

Yeah so ultimately we're attracting towards Bigg Boss because of celebrities though they're not big enough but at least some of them are known to us and not to forget Salman is the main acid of the show, 1st Season when Arshad Warshi was the host despite of having all kind of masala celebrity it didn't gain TRP. In later year Big B and Shilpa Shetty hosted the show but show didn't grow that which is growing right now.

I have watched first season....2nd season didn't watch it because TS didn't had that channel....from 3rd season again started to watch.....I am talking about me.....

Reason of popularity is increase in viewership and immense gossiping everywhere regarding the reality show. Twitter has been very helpful in keeping the viewers engage and create sensation about this show in recent years

I strongly disagree with you.The show has constantly increased its popularity. In the initial days , it was a new concept in India and that's why it gained less popularity.Later on , as the tastes changed and evolved, the show began getting popular . It has nothing to do with the host-be it Salman, Big B or Arshad.

I agree that Bigg Boss need a famous and Rowdy host to keep things hot and buzzing even when the show is not airing.

And one more reason which has made Bigg Boss famous and talking one is introduction of Live Feed in last 3 years.
