Colors lines up ‘Bigg Boss 8′ for 9 pm; ‘Beintehaa’ to open 11 pm band
One of the most awaited and just as controversial reality shows on Indian television, ‘Bigg Boss 8′ will debut on Colors on 21 September. Consequently, the channel’s fiction show ‘Beintehaa’ will open up the 11 pm band as it moves to accommodate the reality show. After much speculation, it has now been confirmed that the reality show will air daily at 9 pm. The show will occupy the slot of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ on weekends, as the dance reality show airs its finale on 20 September. Meanwhile, the weekdays will see a bit of restructuring to accommodate the show. While love story ‘Rangrasiya’ will go off air on 19 September, the 9 pm love story ‘Beintehaa’ will be shifted to 11 pm Monday to Friday from 22 September, opening up a new time band for the channel.
