You're aware of this incident seems no way he talked about Exit Polls, he apologized because of early trends of result day which was favoring BJP. BJP once crossed 100 + in early trend of result day.

Not only his channel even Zee News and some channels too show that bjp has crossed 100+ but later they changed it

I think its ANI who gave contents to all news agency. Everyone had same figure also this is not a first time happened during UP election also BJP gone passed some 100 + seats and that same NDTV shown that figure later we know who become king but it is obvious that National Party's started the trend first then regional so what special happened this time and why Roy didn't apologized that time ?

Nope. All news channels depend upon their local correspondent stalled outside the counting places. ANI have no involvement in it.

Officials figures are released by Partywise Result but they are very late and highly authentic.

News Agency who did exit polls knows what are the result going to be happen, IBN & ABP predicted that MGB going to form a Govt. hence whatever they found from the agency they didn't relied on it and run their story, whosoever Media predicted BJP to form Govt. moved with the data they got. hence everything messed up, Reporters not even can enter in polling booth because of 144, they have only 1 place to crack info and that is Collectorate and agency who is Govt. authenticated surpass the news from booth.

During day of poll in Delhi elections. I was waiting at the metro station and met a college guy who was coming back from a polling station after conducting this exit poll. He told me they are given target of x number of people. He was way short of his mark when i met him. So he told me, he will just fill in the rest entries by himself because if he won't he won't get paid for the day. So its as simple as that. Exit poll depends on the person on the ground. How efficiently he is working and with how much honesty.
