you are right slowness and bad UI. Though I consider the UI is not as good as tata sky or airtel (barring their logo disaster), but UI of d2h is also decent one. Yes slowness is big problem.

Running well. Slight fast, no channel slip as it was the case in 500gb (when you change channel in 500gb one, it used to go to next to next rather than to next)

Its a STB bug or Remote bug?? ..I am thinking to change my RF remote

stb bug as it doesnt recognise the sense as soon as the button pressed.

Hi Friends,

My 500gb d2h dvr stopped working and it was then replaced by 1000gb dvr by the technician.
He said, sorry sir we do not have 500gb dvr in the stock...you will have to pay 1000rs extra and take this 1000gb dvr as replacement. I was so happy that now I have latest dvr.

I noticed that interface is much more faster than 500gb dvr.

So it is like blessing in disguise. A problem resulted in joy at the end of the day...

I had changed the remote but the issue remained. So looks like software issue, not even box. Because this issue everyone has.

I checked the STB, can't find brand name anywhere. May be on the box it would be written. I will try to post when I get time.
