The best part of the remote is that you can use it while you are in other room

It is RF and not IR.
@ all brothers - i have been using d2h since 24th june 2014 n i have one year validity left in my account which ll expire on july 2016.
till now i have never faced any problem in d2h except its pq n aq. all CPEs r in good conditions. signals r there during heavy rains.
no problem in remote or in any software / hardware.
for me - as i have adtv sd n hd boxes too thats y i feel that d2h's pq n aq is not so good but otherwise d2h's pq is quite ok along with its aq.
