Recently BSNL EVDO BTSs of some areas in AndhraPradesh, Punjab Telecom Circles and Chennai Telephone District has diverted to NE1(Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura), NE2(Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur), J&K(Jammu & Kashmir) and Assam circles in view of expansion.
In view of diversion of EVDO BTSs, BSNL has announced the following promotional offers to affected EVDO Customers.
- USB Type 3G Data Card (3.6 Mbps) is to be offered free of cost to those affected EVDO customer who surrenders his BSNL EVDO card in BSNL CSCs.
- The customer has to subscribe to a promotional postpaid data plan with Fixed Monthly Charges of Rs.750 (10 GB) valid for six months. After the initial period of 6 months, the customers will be given the option to migrate to any of the existing regular data plan of his choice.
All the terms and conditions for activation of data plan in BSNL Postpaid services will remain as same, this new promotional scheme is a limited period offer to the affected EVDO Customers in AndhraPradesh, Punjab Telecom Circles and Chennai Telephone District from 01-02-2013 and in Maharastra from 15-02-2013 for a period of 90 days.
