HELP can we port our no. from day 1

one has to be in a network for a mandatory period of 30 days..

When I ported out 3 years back, there was a lock-in period of 90 days.
Try sending SMS as PORT <your mobile number> to 1900.
You will come to know the status....

No no I think DFan bought new connection of BSNL and he wants to port within 1 month of a new connection.

Ofcourse in portability we have to stays for 90 days in mandatory basis.

I guess you need to be with the current operator for 3 months. It does not matter whether you are a new customer or a ported in customer.
NinadG Bro, the SMS you mentioned will in any case give you the port code - whether or not you are eligible.
