With Phase 4 digitization which is on, there will be lot of changes in Cable TV sector. Bigger MSO will acquire smaller local MSO.

By april end majority of hathway cities will have 50+ HD channels and 400+ SD Channels. other MSO too will follow suite

Asianet Digital which started its operations as a local MSO in kerala, how plans to expand to all south states and be a southern MSO. Asianet is owned by Rahejas who also own Hathway.

I can give out many more place where national MSO have entered and are giving good services.

Hindujas venture named IndusInd Media & Communications already has an MSO named In Cable / In Digital, Which is also a national MSO.

Hindujas started HITS in 2015, which is also successful. Not many LCO know about this new technology.
