If you subscribe a-la-carte with base package, there will be a lock in period. But if you create your own package by subscribing each channel on a-la-carte, there is no lock in period.

I think locking period of such packs are 90 days among all DTH.

Don't know if it's TRAI policy or not but I dont think TRAI have any jurisdiction in packaging part.
