There can two issues. Either there is compatibility issue between you TV and TATA Sky box.
Or else the HDMI cable you are using is having compatibility issue.
When I purchased Samsung LED few months back, the Samsung engineer was not even ready to connect HDMI cable given be Tata sky citing it as bad quality cable.
Then I purchased the latest cable for Rs 1200.
So, try by changing cable first
