Govt. Approved 740 channels to take on air in 2014
when will we see 740 channels on Cable/DTH?

I don't think any cable TV or DTH will be adding all the channels which are approved. Some of these channels are regional channels and they are available only in certain regions when it comes to cable.
When it comes to DTH, they don't want to waste their TP space by adding channels which are not famous.

No one will be so out of mind to add all these channels. More than 100 would only be on paper and not even operational.

And channel addition require space which again requires money . So don't expect such big number of channels in this decade.
