EXCLUSIVE : Chennai Express Satellite Rights Grabbed by Zee for a Whooping 48 CRORE :-
Shah Rukh Khan's Upcoming Mega Release 'Chennai Express' is all set to hit screens on 9th August, many channels were in hurry to grab the TV rights of the film.
According to sources¸ an upcoming channel End Films, owned by Zee has grabbed the lucrative opportunity of bagging the satellite rights of a SRK-starrer for Rs 48 crores in their first stint.
However the purchase comes with a unique clause stating that the said channel will offer more amount if the film crosses the Rs 100 crore. If Film does more than 100cr, for every extra 10 crore channel will pay 2 crore more to the Makers.
This is One of the Highest price paid to a film for its satillite rights.
