there are two feeds available so why TS needs to downscale the feed D Major bro?
You're not getting may be because you used those DTH who put black bars on their own and you guys think its from broadcast end.

Most of the broadcasters who having HD feed but not having HD suffix means they're HD channel or atleast their contents in 16:9 but since they failed to pay carriage fee, operators downscaled them,

If you read Times CEO in MN+ HD article he agreed Movies Now is SD channel which is not and Hathway even carrying its original version and dishtv didn't put black bars on it.

FYI,. CC was in SD only until now and it was telecasted in Pan and Scan not in letter box. and we know which broadcasters got both feed. You are pretty confused in AR, if it is in black bar, it is not HD, some movies are in widescreen too( with black bars)

it is in full screen, so it depends on the camera used..

It is not TS that downscales but the broadcasters itself, they downscale at the uplink centre and provide to the platform.

I don't wants to talk about concept here. This is print and I am talking about channels aspect ratio,

I just want a list here that which DTH tweaking Aspect Ratio of a particular channel.

Does Movies Now, Epic TV, History TV, MTV Indies, ZEE Cafe, Baby TV, Comedy Central, VH1 contents are in full screen or not if not then does their logo are upper from black bars or completely inside black bars.

The broadcasters itself tweaking the AR to suit the CRT tvs'. Movies now itself would have given a nod to tweak the AR as it needs to be done, If it comes in full screen, then the images appears stretched on CRTs.
This is the fact for tweaking AR and that is why even DVD is giving the option of letterbox and widescreen, hope you got that. It is not about bandwidth but the appearance on CRT tv.
So SD would have default, eiher black bar or Pan and Scan and HD, full screen or with black bar depending on the camera shot.
This is the basic concept D Major.
For TV shows, full screen and movies full screen or blackbar.
