then their is ample time in dishtv's hand to do something magical , add channels , may be DVR in worldcup season to retain you with them ;)

yes this is the big problem in airtel.

We all are loyal for our brand like you with TS and I with dish no matter competitive DTH giving whatsoever we will pick are old ones once we sees opportunity because we're comfortable with them.

I liked Tata Sky then i started using Airtel and really liked it too. After 2010 when the old CEO of Tata Sky Mr. Kaushik quit then Tata Sky became horrible as it was followed by continuos increase in prices with hardly few channel additions that too after a gap of many years, too little too late. I gt Videocon d2h as it gave Max HD Channels, had an option to choose between Dish TV and Videocon d2h in 2011 but didn't choose Dish TV bcoz of their horrible HD Packs they had earlier which were pricey and i really feel happy that i did not chose Dish TV seeing their fights with broadcasters.

Videocon d2h has been excellent in Channel Additions, Pricing is affordable for Packages, Aftersales is also very good. The only issue is their slow software plus bluish color tone in many SD channels. Now that Airtel has started adding channels and gives btter Picture, Audio Quality, better hardware so i have decided to use it from next year for 1 TV.

Tata Sky gave me offer of Grand Sports Pack for Rs. 2600 so i recharged it last month though for HD I have to pay extra Rs. 125 per month
